Homemade Wood Floor Cleaner Recipe And Instructions

The homemade wood floor cleaner below is easy to make, and quite effective.

Unfortunately, I see a lot of recipes for wood floor cleaners which call for you to use a solution of water and vinegar.

It is my opinion that vinegar does not properly clean wood floors, at least without some actual detergent or soap also included within the cleaning solution.

Therefore, below is my wood floor cleaner recipe, which does not contain vinegar, unlike about 99% of the homemade cleaner recipes out there.

Recipe For Wood Floor Cleaner

Ingredients:

• 1-2 teaspoons pH neutral dishwashing liquid
• Bucket full of warm water

Directions:

Mix the ingredients together, and wash your wood floor using these instructions.

Please note than when mixing your cleaner you want a few bubbles, but avoid using too much soap or detergent because it will make your floor harder to rinse, and a sticky soap film will result.

Such a soap film with create a dirt magnet from the soap residue.

Therefore, after using this wood floor cleaner you also need to rinse your floor well, by mopping the floor a second time with plain water.
