Handprint Turkey Craft - Easy Thanksgiving Kids Craft IdeaAn easy Thanksgiving craft you can do with your kids is to make this cute handprint turkey. I'm always looking for some fun crafts to do with my kids, and this one has definitely made the list. I am a big fan of handprint crafts, just because it is fun to save your kids' handprints to see how much they grow through the years. This one also has a footprint, as you can see. All you need is the following:
Just looking at the picture you can basically tell what we did. First, paint your child's foot and have her (or him) place it directly on the the paper. That serves as the turkey's body. Next, paint each hand and have your child lay them down on the paper on either side of the footprint, to serve as the wings. You can make the wings multicolored by painting each finger a different color. Once this paint dries (and you have washed their little feet and hands) you can finish the last little pieces of the project. Just use a marker to draw in the eyes (or dots of paint will work too). Next, cut out a little triangle of construction paper for the beak, and an oval shape for the turkey's wattle, and you are all done with this easy handprint turkey craft. The project is quick to do, and messy enough to be exciting for kids, which makes it a fun and easy Thanksgiving craft for kids!
