Homemade No Wax Floor Cleaner - Recipe And InstructionsThis homemade no wax floor cleaner is kind of complicated to make, but it produces a cleaner with a nice scent on your no wax floors. Ingredients:
Directions: Step 1: Make soap flakes by taking a bar of pure soap, such as Ivory, and coarsely grating it with a kitchen grater. Step 2: Combine the soap flakes, washing soda, salt and water into a saucepan on low heat. Stir continuously until the ingredients have dissolved into the water. Step 3: Once the ingredients have dissolved turn off the stove, and let the liquid in the saucepan cool until it is lukewarm. Step 4: After it has cooled sufficiently add the pine oil, and stir until well combined. Step 5: Pour this mixture into a jar or bottle with a lid. Step 6: When you are ready to use the cleaner it will need to be diluted. Pour 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture into a bucket half-full of hot water, and stir well. Step 7: Once you used this cleaner on your floor, the solution must be rinsed off. Do this by combining a half bucket of clean water with the 1 cup of vinegar, and using this to rinse the floor.
